Sagutin ang Isyu (answer the issue)
I was watching news this evening. I saw a segment “Sagutin ang Isyu”. It tackles, same sex marriage.
It just seems funny that I saw that priest and actually hearing him that he is advocating same sex marriage that is why he made his own sect and blesses gay and lesbian couples. He says that he is doing that because he wants to uphold the rights of the third sex. The politician on the other hand are mostly not ok with it. Mostly giving the reason that the Filipino people and our culture is not yet ready for it.
While I was watching I was also reading this book by Pastor Jim Cymbala “Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire” and in the chapter “The Lure of Marketing”. So I kinda relate the news and the book. According to Pastor Cymbala, most of the churches today are lured into marketing because they want to please people, to get funds, get better attendance, sacrificing the scripture just to get accepted by people. Just like that issue with same sex marriage, why do we have to do that? I mean, I have nothing, absolutely nothing against them. I know they have been a victim of whatever happened in their life or maybe just choice. But then, we have to respect the Word. I mean, nowhere in the Scripture neither Old or New Testament ever states that Jesus allowed it or give compromise for it. In fact, Sodom and Gomorrah was burned because of it. Sorry, but I’m a strong believer that God is never changing, His thoughts and His plans are constant, so He is the same in the old testament, new testament until forever. Why would we need to change His teachings? NO to same sex marriage for me.
Lalaki ka ba?
One of the question that I would love to ask most of the guys I know but of course it will be too offensive.
It is just too amazing how a “guy” can be more talkative than a girl. Chika to the max. Well, it never got to the point naman na narinig ko silang magganun. Pero kakainis how they can be so paranoid about the people around them thus giving them a lot of things to talk about. Minsan, I heard them saying that this girl is so ewan….kakatawa no? Tama bang mag-tsismis.
I grew up mostly around men who actually are “men”. My bestfriend of almost 13 years is very manly. Tahimik lang. You will never hear him say anything bad about other people. Ibig sabihin, pag sinabi niya ang isang bagay to anyone talagang he intend for that person to know it, hindi tsismis cos he knows how word goes around. Then, there is my man, a man of few words. Isa pa siya, he will never speak about someone who is not present. My dad also, sobrang quiet din (well, iba na pag lasing ha). And even my lil bro, hindi siya nagsasalita ng offensive.
In short, I would just like to ask Lalaki ba kayo?
React to Longganiza’s post
This is in reaction to Longganiza’s post. She is reacting how our work is in here, well not really work but the people we work with. As I’ve mentioned in my previous post, diverse personality talaga dito. Some are funny, some are cool and some not even worth mentioning. Minsan, parang isyu na that we’re doing na rin in our group, kasi kakainis naman talaga. Kasi kami, (seated on the rows Longganiza mentioned) we never talk bad about each other, pinagtatanggol pa nga namin ang isa’t -isa but they, they talk bad aboput each other, parang hindi friends.
Yun naman si Ampao, hehehe, actually I admired him because he is quiet, bihira sa isang lalaki. isang malaking BUT THEN, nagkamali ako. Kaasar kausap talaga. Puro pa-pogi , puro babae. Pero wala naman laman ang ut*k. Hehehe… Yung isa feeling may ut*k, at feeling Flordeluna, paawa effect. Kainis!
Yung iba wag na , not worth mentioning here, read Lonnganiza’s blog na lang. Nuff said!
Harassment
I’ve been reading this sexual harassment law in the US and I found myself looking at the present laws in our country. It is pretty sad that we don’t take this things seriously as American do. In the workplaces here, people are often heard with sexual comments and green jokes and that is nothing. In the states, from what I heard, they have this kinds of sexual harassments.
Verbal – this includes hearing other people talk about another person in a sexual way. This is very normal to us. We often talk about our sexual adventures or even how we perceive other people sexually regardless if we’re in a public place.
Visual- this includes bringing those mags in the office and other people seeing it. As simple as that, you can be reported to authorities.
Physical- common type and here, unless a person squeeze you booty you won’t complain but there, even simple
will be a harassment.
Here in our country these are often overlooked. See, in that article I’ve read, it really doesn’t matter what the intention of the doer of the action, what matters is how the receiver perceives it. In short, if your officemate don’t like to be patted and you did, good luck you’re on for a lawsuit.
Ji**…
Tulad nito..
Ji**: May asawa ka na pala?
girl: Oo.
Ji**: Talaga? Mukha kang single!
girl: uy, thank you…(with matching hawi pa ng hair!)
Ji**: Single Mom!
Kanin nga yung pic namin, ayun, binaboy niya ako!
Huhuhu….
On Jumong, Super Twins atbp.
Insomniac na ako. No matter how tired I am, nagigising ako ng 6pm!!! Haggard, graveyard shift pa naman ako. Yun, kasi naman before, Jewel in the Palace 6pm.
Super S: Sige….
Tapos I was expecting a magnificent display of power, tumalon siya with matching effects pa, at nag-focus ang camera sa boots niya and ….
TSARAAANNN!!!! tinapak-tapakan niya lang ang tali ng dinamita upang mamatay…tawa to the max ako!!! Hahaha….
Isa pa, pano yun nung nakulong si Sha-Sha at si Tin- Tin, sobrang abnormal naman nun kasi na-detain sila talaga, as in!
Bakekang naman on a dramatic note, wala lang, it seems so weird how the role of Yasmien can do that to her mom. Kakalungkot, kasi hindi sa nagmamalinis ako, though in some point of my life I felt alone hindi pa rin ako naging ganun, and I never thought of doing that either. Minsan naiisip ko, may ganun ba talaga…If yes, kawawa naman yung nanay nila…
Finally, one of my all time fave Jumong. Hehehe…Kahit half lang napapanood ko kasi I have to go to work na. Sad reality sin kasi yun. Minsan, relatives kill for power and money. What I like most about it is hindi siya heavy drama. On a lighter note, kakatuwa si Sa-yoh. Ano nga ba siya, lalaki o babae? hehehe…IT siya!
Yun na!
What the?!?
We have nothing to do here now. I’m dizzy and I feel HUNGARY! Haha! Well, anyway, just remembered this…
WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE OUTSIDE?!?
– famous line from Chi** ..hehehe…EOP kasi (English Only Policy), nabigla, so kahit ano na lang basta nagkakainitindihan.
**********************************************************************
Now, hmmmm…hoping I will have sufficient sweldo. God will provide I know. I have a lot of bills to pay Father, please….
Tagalized
Grrr…blog blog…It is my 3rd week here in my new job. I’m working with 1 of the top 500 Fortune companies as a customer service agent. In short, call center na naman! Masaya dito, maybe because of the people, or my batchmates I suppose.
First week- kakailang.
One thing I can see, diversity made us somewhat one.
