Kung ang blessing nang Diyos ay nakadepende sa ating obedience, makakatanggap kaya tayo ng blessing e ang ating inclination nga is to disobey? Hindi baga't ang grace ay undeserved at ito ay ibinibigay ng Diyos sa kabila na tayo ay disobedient. Hindi baga't ang obedience mismo ay bunga ng blessing ng Dios? Na ibig sabihin ang Banal na Espiritu ay kumikilos sa buhay natin kaya tayo nakakasunod. Ang tanging pagsunod lamang na katanggap tanggap sa Diyos ay bunga ng pagkilos ng Banal na Espiritu na binabago tayo upang ang pagsunod ni Cristo ay maging ating pagsunod. At ang Kaniyang pagsunod ay ating pagsunod sa pamamagitan ng biyaya. Hindi tayo binibless ng Diyos dahil sa ating pagsunod mismo kundi dahil sa pagsunod ni Jesus na atin ding pagsunod bunga ng ating kaugnayan sa Kaniya dahilan sa kayamanan ng Kaniyang biyaya. Kung tayo ay ibebless ng Diyos bunga ng ating pagsunod, ano ang kaibahan nito sa kinagisnan nating paniniwala na ang tao ay maliligtas sa pamamagitan ng mabubuting gawa? Hindi baga't ang paniniwala natin na itinuturo ng Biblia ay biyaya lamang ang nakapagligtas at makapagliligtas sa atin? Totoo na ang Diyos ay humihingi ng pagsunod sa atin. Subalit sino sa ating ang makakasunod sa Kaniya ng ayon sa Kaniyang pamantayan? Siya ay perpekto at banal. Ang klase ng pagsunod na katanggap tanggap sa Kaniya y perpekto din at banal. Walang makakagawa niyan kung sa sarili lang. Siya rin ang magbibigay ng lakas sa atin upang magawa natin ang obedience na Kaniyang hinihingi sa atin nang sa gayon ay matanggap natin ang blessing. “…minsan He is asking for our obedience first before He gives the blessing.
